The annual Sports San Diego Golf Classic is one of the largest fundraisers for Sports San Diego, a 501(c)3 non-profit with a mission to generate tourism, visibility and economic impact to the San Diego region.

A private country club in Rancho Santa Fe, California, one of San Diego County's more established affluent communities inland from the coast. Access is members-only, typical of the gated Fairbanks Ranch enclave. Charity tournament play here would require member sponsorship and club coordination.
